Following the project launch of EYE Universal SRHR project in Mayuge District in April ,targeting young people to ensure that those furthest behind have access to integrated SRHR information and services, the Norwegian Embassy conducted its first project joint donor field visit yesterday 5th July, 2023 to obtain insights on the extent of the project acceptance by the district and implementation status.
There was a Global Affairs Canada Donor meeting and Field visit yesterday 27th June 2023 for the stand up for SRHR Mayuge project with Reproductive Health Uganda (RHU) in partnership with Mayuge district local government through IPPF.
The ratio of Agricultural extension workers to farmers in Uganda is 1:5000. This implies that each of the existing extension workers has to reach out to 5,000 farmers engaged in different agricultural enterprises that require specialized expertise. Consequently, there is a nationwide outcry by farmers due to the none satisfactory presence of extension workers to attend to their farm related challenges and offer technical advice within the communities.
CARE International -Uganda, has today held a district coordination meeting to conclude on the mapping processes intended to limit duplication of services , and also enable various stakeholders contribute to the success of the project in a manner that promotes ownership and accountability of project results as part of their initiation activities in the District.

Lifewater International is an American based Christian International organization dedicated to effectively serve vulnerable children and families by partnering with underserved communities , churches,schools and health facilities to enable them access safe water , sanitation and hygiene (WASH) working in partnership with Mayuge District Local government in Kityerera and Busakira sub counties since 2017.

Mayuge district today 28/March.2023 in Partnership with Living Water International celebrated Sanitation Week which was held at Bukatabira Primary School in Malongo Sub-County under the theme " Sanitation and Hygiene for all a key to Disease Prevention ".
